  1. Fill a large stock pot 3/4 full with water. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze
  2. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water, then toss in the lemon halves.
  3. Add the salt and crab boil bag, then bring the water to a rapid boil.
  4. Remove from the heat, let it stop boiling then add the shrimp. Cover and let set for 5 minutes until the shrimp is pink and opaque.
  5. While waiting, prepare an ice bath by filling a large pot 1/ full with water, while adding enough ice to get the water icy cold.
  6. Once the shrimp is done, drain off the liquid and then transfer the shrimp into the ice bath. Discard the bag and lemon halves. Let the shrimp stay in the ice bath until completely cool (about 4 or 5 minutes) while adding more ice as needed.
  7. Peel the shrimp, while leaving the tails intact.
  8. In a bowl, mix the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Mix this well, taste, and add more horseradish to suit your taste.
  9. Serve the sauce in a bowl that has been placed on top of a platter. Arrange the shrimp along the rim, and on the platter, in an attractive manner.
