We all love festive occasions, and nothing beats gathering around a table that is loaded with delicious Holiday foods and surrounded by love and fellowship.   One of the main staples for most Holiday feats, is of course cranberries!  This Holiday harvest relish recipe, provides a wonderful, tangy cranberry flavor that is so well known and loved by many.

This relish is best served with a tray of crackers and cheese, as a topping for yogurt, or as a side dish in itself to impart a wonderfully sweet flavor between courses at any fine dining event.

If you love cranberries, then this dish is an excellent replacement for typical canned cranberry sauce because it uses only the freshest berries that impart a more wonderful flavor than canned sauce ever will.

The tang of the berries combined with the nutty crunch of the walnuts will bring such pleasure that your guests will be amazed at your culinary skill and talent.

A zing of ginger completes the taste festival, by imparting a wonderful yet mellow gingery taste that will linger just enough to make you go yum, that sure is good.

One of the greatest ways to enjoy this fabulous dish, would be to server it aside a nice slice of roasted turkey, with corn on the cob that has been soaked in a butter bath and fresh green beans that have been sauteed in a delightful red wine sauce.
